Last updated: 2 August 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how personal data is collected and processed when you visit davidfucsku.com (the “Website”). It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for processing your personal data on this Website is:

David Fucsku
Email: info@davidfucsku.com

If you have any questions about this notice or how your data is handled, please contact me at the address above.

2. What data is processed, why, and on what legal basis

2.1 Contact form

When you use the contact form on the Website, the following data is collected:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • The content of your message

Purpose: to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about it.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) or, where your enquiry is not contract-related, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (my legitimate interest in responding to messages sent to me).
Retention: your message and contact details are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up correspondence, after which they are deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law or the correspondence leads to a business relationship.

2.2 Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

With your consent, this Website uses Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Tags are managed through Google Tag Manager, which itself does not collect personal data but controls when analytics scripts are loaded. Google Tag Manager is only loaded after you consent to statistics cookies, and your choice is additionally signalled to Google via Google Consent Mode.

GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about how visitors use the Website, such as pages visited, approximate location (derived from a truncated IP address — GA4 does not log or store full IP addresses), device and browser information, and interaction events.

Purpose: to understand how the Website is used and to improve its content and performance.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, given via the cookie banner. Analytics cookies are only set after you consent, and you can withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the Website footer (see the Cookie Policy). Your consent choice itself is stored in a first-party cookie (dfc_consent) for 12 months.
Retention: event-level data in GA4 is retained for [2 / 14] months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Google may transfer data to servers in the United States. Such transfers are safeguarded by Google LLC’s certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. More information about how Google processes data is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

2.3 Server log files

When you visit the Website, the hosting provider automatically records technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, date and time of access, requested pages, browser type, and referring URL.

Purpose: to ensure the security, stability, and technical operation of the Website.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure website).
Retention: log files are retained by the hosting provider for a limited period in line with its policies, then deleted or anonymised.

3. Recipients of personal data

Your data may be processed by the following categories of recipients, acting as processors on my behalf:

  • Hosting provider: Tárhely.eu, which hosts the Website and stores server logs and form submissions transmitted by email.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager), as described above — only if you consent to analytics cookies.

I do not sell your personal data, and I do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you (Article 15);
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data (Article 16);
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”, Article 17);
  • Restrict processing (Article 18);
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (Article 20);
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21);
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (Article 7(3)).

To exercise any of these rights, contact me at info@davidfucsku.com. I will respond within one month, as required by the GDPR.

5. Complaints

If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Hungary, this is:

Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH)
National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information
Website: naih.hu
Email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu

You may also contact the supervisory authority of the EU member state where you live or work.

6. Data security

The Website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

7. Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR takes place on this Website.

8. Cookies

Details about the cookies used on this Website, including how to give and withdraw consent, can be found in the Cookie Policy.
